What are the criteria for the Primary Medical Certificate?

Are without one or both legs or
Are completely or almost completely without the use of both hands or arms and completely or almost completely without the use of one leg or
Have the medical condition of dwarfism and serious difficulties of movement of the legs

Will I qualify for a Disabled Parking Permit if I already hold a Primary Medical Certificate?

Yes if you hold a Primary Medical Certificate you will automatically qualify for a Disabled Parking Permit.

Is there any Revenue Relief Schemes?

In addition to qualifying for a Disabled Parking Permit you are entitled when purchasing a vehicle to avail of Revenue's VRT/VAT relief scheme. This scheme is open to both drivers and passengers with disabilities.
